Does Core Web Vitals optimisation only involve compressing images?
Images are one factor. Measurement may also point to JavaScript, fonts, layout shifts or server response. Improvements should address the observed causes and be measured again after changes.
Should a website redesign preserve existing URLs?
Existing URLs and useful content should be reviewed before changing the structure. If paths must change, redirects and link checks need to be planned. Implementation depends on access to the current hosting and application configuration.
